Ontario Health atHome Appoints Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke as Physician Advisor
Ontario Health atHome is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke as Physician Advisor.
An accomplished geriatrician and physician leader, Dr. Clarke brings more than 18 years of experience in health system design and transformation, quality standards development and integrated models of care across urban and rural communities.
As Physician Advisor, Dr. Clarke will provide expert clinical leadership to Ontario Health atHome and our partners to advance best practices in home and community care across the province, including co-leading Ontario Health atHome’s Clinical Governance Committee. Her expertise will help strengthen clinical oversight, decision-making and quality improvement towards patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Based in Sudbury, Dr. Clarke is Medical Director and Founder of the North East Specialized Geriatric Centre, a geriatrician leader with Health Sciences North and serves as Clinical Lead, Specialized Geriatric Services for Ontario Health North East.
She is also an Assistant Professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine University and was appointed to the Order of Ontario in 2023 in recognition of her contributions to health care.

Dr. Clarke’s appointment follows a competitive procurement process and she will serve in this role on a part-time basis.
